So, you don’t believe me when I say that people who vote on this show are stupid? Let me put this in a way you, the faithful shit for brains Latin American Idol voter, can understand.
I just watched in Teletica that there is a movement in Downtown San José called “A Million Votes for María José”. OK, so you guys want to collect this money so María José can win right? Ok, I hope that you are still with me, given that you, my Latin American Idol monkey, probably have the attention span of Sloth on crack:
You know that if María José wins, she gets $2,000, right? OK, now carefully pay attention to this graph (Update October 7, 2008: the graph was incorrect, I miscalculated the amount of money that 1,000,000 calls cost):
The first one is the money she gets of she wins this stupid, agonizing and dignity stripping contest. The second one is the amount of money she would get if all you fuckheads donated it directly to her and not to Sony. Ok, now use all of the neurons in your brain and try to calculate which one is bigger…good…good…NO YOU FUCKTARD, it’s the one one the right!!!!!
And please understand, mind you, that this money is for 1 ROUND. If you had given her your money since the beginning, we have something like this:
Concentrate and try to get it, I know you can.
On a complete sidenote, this blog is #10 #2 in results when you search for maria jose SMS in Google and a whooping #2 when you search for maria jose SMS latin american idol …sweet.

La verdad la verdad… No sé si le quede claro todo esto a los fans de LAFI, ya que recordá que el programa va dirigido a LATAM, así que creo que de tu post lo único que van a entender es el “SMS 43657″ del título, o sea, van a creer que los estás instando a que voten por su favorito, pero bueno, para todos los demás que sí entendemos… ROTFL!! You are certainly a great writer ,grumpytico. I like your style, and I like the fact that people actually stand up to say what they believe in.
I know you think the highest percentage of ticos are moronic, I disagree on that sense; but, people like you, who like debating, who express their thoughts and who actually try to put things into perspective for the rest is always good news.

I don’t think that a high rate of CR as idiots, I just think that if Costa Rica wins this contest, *we* are demonstrating that the vast majority of people in this country have shit for brains.
Think of us winning on LAI analogous to when George W. was reelected. It did not say a lot about the majority of people in the US.

Con esto que te voy a contar espero consideres seriamente dejar de usar tu valioso tiempo en esto: Estoy en Panamá y aquí es la misma onda pero para apoyar a Margarita (la contendiente de MJ para lograr tan magno premio). Pero aqui he sido testigo de lo peor de lo peor: El Club Activo 2030, Sí ese organismo para las teletones, sí ese mismo cuyo propósito único ha sido mejorar los hospitales, prevenir y combatir las emergencias nacionales, etc, y quien sobrevive y existe por donaciones; ha hecho el ofrecimineto de venta de camisetas para donar fondos a SMS para Margarita.
Usar sus recursos para esto es la peor burla que he visto para los donantes y necesitados… Qué sigue?.. La Cruz Roja?!?!?!!!!
Chris! Deja el puto tema ya!!! No pierdas tu tiempo… por favor recuerda que “en contra de la estupidez, hasta los mismos dioses lucharon en vano”.

@maria: Lo sé…lo sé. Es como darle martillazos a un clavo que ya está torcido en la madera.
Sin embargo, las vilis que riego viendo a la estúpida gente entusiasmada por tal estupidez son compensadas en escribir al respecto.
Si tan SOLO una persona lee esto, y se da cuenta del calibre de timo en el que está participando y decide no votar más, logré mi propósito.
Acordémonos del gran sabio de Serrano – “Hay 2 superpotencias en el mundo: una es Estados Unidos, la otra eres tú”. Así que éste es mi intento en poder tratar de hacer algo que cambie la estupidez que esto significa.
No sé si es bueno o malo ver que otros países hermanos estén sufriendo de la misma ola de estupidez que está atacando al nuestro. Como dices, da tristeza.
Creo que la mejor manera de terminar LAFI sería que digan…
“Y el ganador de LAI es… (drumroll)….SONY!! Sí, tarados imbéciles, Sony tuvo un margen de ganancia del 50000% y no nos interesa cuales de estas “artistas” saquen un disco, igual en 2 días a todo el mundo se le va haber olvidado este estúpido programa, pero sigan ahorrando para nuestra secuela, prometemos desangrarlos más de su estúpido dinero”

Si te conformas con una sola persona entonces puedes darte por satisfecho: Lucy la semana pasada después de leer todos los comentarios de “join me in not sending an SMS to MJ” ha enviado un email a la familia diciendo que “prometo no mandar más mensajes y no coger sus celulares para tal propósito”
