I don’t think I have blogged about either The Daily Show or the Colbert Report – shame on me. TDS with John Stewart was all I watched in my college years…when I moved back to Costa Rica, there was no way for me to watch the episodes (no Comedy Central no matter what you do). It was until the miracle of BitTorrent that I get the chance of downloading these brilliant shows. I usually keep them until I have to travel and watch them on the plane and at the airport bar.

YouTube is usually flooded with segments from TCR and TDS, and I found this one particularly funny from TCR. If you have watched Stephen doing his interviews, you know that he tries to piss off his guests by taking a counter-opinion with whatever the interviewer (usually a book author) is defending in his book. What is surprising is that, as unfounded and retarded his points are, he puts the interviewer in uncomfortable situations with his remarks. Other times he just tries blatantly to piss someone off, and that is exactly what he did in this one.

Here is the YouTube segment, and the funny part is that a morning program TV show presenter here in Costa Rica (Edgar Silva), does exactly what Stephen does…the guy invites an “expert” and when it comes to phone calls, the jackass answers all the questions.
